Maggie Explains It All

Well, hey there. I'm Maggie. I live in Atlanta; the land of Sweet Tea, Chick-Fil-A breakfasts, and Southern hospitality. I'm an adventurer, a runner, and a yogi-in-training.

I have a weakness for margaritas (on the rocks), kids cereal (Lucky Charms, always), cheesy pop music, and J.Crew.

I believe in having breakfast for dinner and that baked goods are the fastest way to make friends.

I LOVE that Melissa just blogged this! A few weeks ago when RP and I were at Wanee we were driving out of the camp grounds and passed a creatively painted VW Bus. We discussed in length the possibility of purchasing a VW Bus or VW Vanagon in our future for trips just like she describes below! RP was in favor of the Vanagon since it has the pop up. I voted for the VW bus on the pure fact that I think it is cuter! If anyone knows of any other ones for sale let me know!

Brent and I are in the process of purchasing a car for our return to North Carolina. Along with whatever family car we purchase, we will be enjoying a funky little 1986 VW Vanagon. A family hand-me-down that’s been parked too long and needs to be driven regularly.
In comes Brent, Everly, and I waving our hands furiously and saying “Oh! We’ll take it !” We’re picturing weekend camping trips, out of town music festivals and anywhere else our hearts feel called to go.
It has the pop up camper on top and a little sink and stove. It’s so ugly it’s cute! Stay tuned for our Vanagon adventures - we’ve got to give this bad boy an appropriate name.
Love,
M
